Five Studio
Terms of Use
These Terms explain how Five Studio can be used, how submitted films are handled, and what rules protect the platform, viewers, and artists.
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Five Studio, you agree to these Terms of Use and to any additional rules shown inside the platform, including submission terms when you submit a film. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Account and access
Five Studio uses Google sign-in to identify users. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for all activity connected to your Five profile. Five may restrict, suspend, or remove access if an account is used in a harmful, abusive, illegal, misleading, or unauthorized way.
3. Platform purpose
Five Studio is an independent streaming platform for short films, human-made cinema, AI-assisted cinema, creator profiles, film discovery, private film suggestions, and film submissions. The platform may evolve as features are improved, added, removed, or reorganized.
4. Viewing content
Films, posters, images, text, names, logos, interface elements, and other content available on Five are protected by copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, and other rights. You may watch content through the platform for personal use only. You may not copy, download, redistribute, sell, reupload, modify, scrape, or exploit platform content unless Five Studio or the rights holder gives you written permission.
5. User profiles and social features
Users may create a profile, add a photo, banner, bio, favorite films, and follow other users. You must not impersonate another person, use offensive or unlawful profile content, harass users, or misuse the Friends and suggestion features. Five may moderate, hide, or remove profile content that harms the platform or other users.
6. Film suggestions and chat
Five chat is designed for private film suggestions between users. It is not a free-text messaging system. You may not use suggestions to spam, harass, mislead, or target users. Five may limit, remove, or moderate suggestion activity when needed to protect users and the service.
7. Film submissions
When you submit a film, you must provide accurate information and confirm that you own the work or have full authorization to submit it. You are responsible for all rights, music, images, likenesses, AI-generated elements, trademarks, releases, and third-party materials included in the film and promotional assets. Five may approve, decline, request changes, hide, or remove submissions for legal, technical, rights, moderation, access, quality, or platform-fit reasons.
8. License granted for submitted works
By submitting a film and accepting the submission terms, you grant Five Studio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review, host, stream, display, publish, promote, reference, and present the submitted film and its promotional assets on Five and related Five communication channels if the project is approved. This license allows Five to operate the platform and present the work, while you remain responsible for holding the necessary rights.
9. Published films and removal requests
If your submission is approved, Five may publish it using the information and assets you provided. If you later request removal, Five will review the request and remove the film from public access within a reasonable operational delay, except where limited retention is required for legal, security, moderation, archival, technical, or already-published promotional reasons.
10. Video links and availability
The current submission system may use external video links. You must keep review and publication links accessible when needed. If a link becomes private, deleted, blocked, region-restricted, or inaccessible, Five may pause, hide, reject, or request changes to the submission or published film.
11. Creator badge
The creator badge is granted manually by Five Studio to selected creators, founders, official profiles, or trusted artist accounts. The badge is not guaranteed and may be removed if a profile becomes misleading, inactive, abusive, or no longer meets Five's trust and creator standards.
12. Donations and support
Support, donations, sponsorship discussions, or contributions help Five maintain and improve the platform, produce original Five films, and work toward future creator monetization. Unless clearly stated otherwise in writing, support contributions do not create ownership, control, equity, guaranteed visibility, or a right to influence editorial decisions.
13. Prohibited behavior
You may not attack, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, bypass security, misuse authentication, upload malicious content, violate rights, impersonate others, or use Five for illegal activity. Five may take technical, legal, or moderation action to protect the platform and its users.
14. Service availability
Five Studio is provided on an evolving basis. We work to keep the platform stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of every film, or error-free operation. Features, catalog items, moderation decisions, and technical systems may change over time.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Five Studio is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of data, loss of opportunity, third-party content, user-submitted rights issues, unavailable external links, or interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow such limitation.
16. Updates to these Terms
Five may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Five after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If a change is important, we may make reasonable efforts to make it visible through the site or related communication channels.
